02Why me / the road here
This isn’t my first time building from zero.
I have spent years building software that understands human intent — from personalized music and search to voice, agents, habits, creation, language, and AI characters. Onebird turns that long-running thesis into products.

03How I build
AI gives one person the leverage of a company. Judgment stays human.
Execution is becoming abundant. What remains scarce is judgment: deciding what deserves to exist, recognizing quality, and carrying a coherent philosophy from an idea all the way to market. That is the company I am building.

My AI thesis
AI changes what software can understand — and what builders must decide.
AI will not replace people.
It will make human judgment more valuable — and more difficult. When many answers are easy to generate, knowing which direction deserves commitment becomes the real work.

AI is not a feature bolted onto an old workflow. Software can now understand what you mean, adapt to your context, and help complete the work.

As execution gets cheaper, aesthetic judgment and the ability to recognize quality stop being decoration. They become an operating advantage.

YIMING → ONE BIRD
05Why Onebird
The name was there all along.
My Chinese given name is Yiming — 一鸣. The character 鸣 is made from 口 (mouth) and 鸟 (bird). Take away the mouth and 一鸣 becomes 一鸟: one bird. It is a wordplay, but also a direction for how I want to build.
A bird means freedom, flight, and the courage to explore open space. One Bird also echoes the OPC idea: one person can choose a direction, take off, and keep discovering what is possible.
